Camera Disclosure: We have four, actively recording cameras overlooking the front, back, and side entrances which record video and audio upon live motion movement in the area. All devices are on the exterior of the property and in no way shape or form point inside the house to protect your privacy. Devices are on 24/7. There are no indoor cameras. Cameras only record the outside of the property to ensure the safety of our guests. Please be advised, the home sits on creekside acreage with natural wildlife growing outside the yard area. We are not responsible for any injuries or deaths occurring due to incidents or accidents. There is plenty of porch and yard space to enjoy, just exercise caution beyond the yard. *We have a strict no party / loud music rule. There is a minimum fine of $1000. *Outdoor quiet hours start at 10pm and run until 7am. *No smoking of ANY KIND is permitted. There is a cleaning fee of $500 to scrub walls, clean carpets, and treat air if any smoke is detected. *Check-in time is 4PM-11p *Checkout time is 10am *No extra / overnight guests (having more guests than stated in your reservation). If the number doesn't match, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, or charge a $100 per guest per night fee. *No Pre-Check in Bag Storage (Only possible when available, upon request, and for a fee) *No pets *No delivering personal packages/mail to the property unless arranged beforehand *No Moving / Rearranging of the furniture (unless otherwise specified) *No unplugging of the electronics like TVs,lamps, Roku sticks etc *We reserve the right to charge you accordingly if any of the above rules are broken After the reservation is confirmed we’ll ask for your government issued ID and ask you to agree to our house rules. Rented this place from Liz and team during the 152nd Kentucky Derby. Stayed there with 8 adults and found it great! Historic house with modern amenities thats well kept. They definitely did a great job ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend

We had an amazing stay! We loved the history of the house and the location was perfect for visiting our family. The front porch is gorgeous with great views of Harrods Creek. The house itself was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. Plenty of space for our family of 6. The hosts were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We’ll definitely plan to be back in the future!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this house. It’s just outside of Louisville, so a quick drive. 5 min down the road to a grocery store, Starbucks, and numerous other shops. The location is very private, and the house is large enough to accommodate a larger family. Our kids enjoyed ending the night watching some tv in the geo dome. The house was clean, had great blankets, large beds, and plenty of bathrooms. We appreciated the full kitchen as well to cut down on costs of eating out. We ran into an issue with no water pressure one night in the house. We contacted the host, and they reached back out within probably 10 minutes. They were able to contact the local water utility to find that they were doing a repair on their side. Water was restored that night. This was outside of the hosts control, but we appreciated their reception to the issue, and figuring out what was going on. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved our stay at this beautiful, well-maintained, historic property. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable, not to mention fully updated while maintaining its charm. My kids loved the geodome for movie nights with the included projector! The location is quiet and peaceful outside of Louisville, but it’s a quick drive to get into the city. The host is kind and very responsive! Overall a 5/5 experience :)
